Welcome to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Sports Commission website!
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Sports Commission (MSGCSC) a 501C-6 non-profit private membership organization was formed to provide a platform to help sporting events on the Gulf Coast flourish and to bring recognition to the area regionally and nationally.
The MSGCSC and its members will provide the structure for sporting events from event management, decision making and volunteer base to assist all sports for the Gulf Coast to thrive and succeed to their highest level imaginable.

Coastal Athletes
As a part of our Quality of Life initiative, the MS Gulf Coast Sports Commission is working with local, regional and national companies to provide Mississippi Gulf Coast athletes the best opportunity to reach the next level whether it is college or professional. The Sports Commission will launch Coastal Athletes which provides stats for the top players within their respective sports which can be viewed by recruiters at each level.
Scheduled launch date for this program is Fall 2011. “We are working with the people on the Gulf Coast that will help make this initiative possible and it has been met with great excitement. The next step will be to compile the information to make it successful,” stated Scott E. Ratcliff, Executive Director of the Sports Commission.
